About Four-Sixteen-Ten

Weddings are supposed to be fun but it seems that the ones we’ve been attending lack a certain ‘zing.’ Of course, we’re sure that it was fun for most of the participants -- bride and groom especially -- but for the guests it’s a series of barely-understood traditions (why exactly do we release doves?) and games that the singles reluctantly participate in.

So we decided to put on a show for all of our friends. We’ve already celebrated with our families so this night’s for you.

Parts of it will be self-indulgent but not so much that it ceases to be amusing (We hope. After all, we’re still footing the bill). It’ll be a celebration of what binds us together, what makes us happy, and why we decided to hook up, permanently.

There will be food and music and books (yeah, imagine that) and fun and friends and laughter, lots of it. There might be awkward moments but nothing that a few drinks won’t solve.

So make sure that the evening of April 16th is free. Be at the Filipinas Heritage Library (books!) at 7:00pm for a party that celebrates love in general (ours in particular).
